There’s enough watery light coming from the entrance for them to make their way across the rock-strewn floor with a minimum of tripping and stubbed toes. At least this time they don’t have to worry about being quiet.
The dragon is curled up in the sun, just outside the mouth of the cave, like a very large, scaly cat. But not sleeping. Most definitely not sleeping.
It turns its head as Parker and Perry step outside of the cave.
